The Small Print
Under prior arrangement we are able to deliver your cakes. We recommend factoring in delivery of your Wedding cake by the cake artist, to ensure the safety of the cake.
Other Cakes can be collected from Lacey's Cakes at an arranged time.

Please note - If the cake is collected , the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and Lacey's Cake Shop will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after it has been collected. The same applies for cakes that are delivered- once we leave, we can not take any responsibility for the cake. (We will make sure it looks amazing before we leave but if Rover wants a bite.......... not our fault! Sorry!)
We recommend allowing Lacey's Cake to deliver to the venue, If however you do collect- Transportation of the cake(s) is important. Please transport your cakes on a completely level/flat surface with your vehicle’s AC running. Do not place the cake on a seat, in someone’s lap. Failure to follow these instructions could result in damage of your cake and we cannot be held responsible
Please book your required delivery date and time with Lacey's Cakes upon ordering. If your chosen day is unavailable, the next available day will be offered. However to ensure great care with your cake Lacey's Cakes will always try and accommodate your request if possible. If you require your order sooner or the date is not available, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Your cakes will be delivered by hand between the hours of 09.30 - 14:00 or 16.30-18:00 on your chosen delivery day.
Please let us know if you require delivery before or on a specific time. This may be possible, but a surcharge will be payable. Please contact us for further details.
If you are not happy
If you are not a 100% happy with your cake due to any issue within reason, we are happy to try to help rectify the situation for you. Or offer alternative solutions. We can unfortunately not offer any partial or full refund if you do not let us know what is wrong, within 24 hours of collection/delivery time. We will also need to see the cake- as we will want to make sure we NEVER make the same mistake again. We may also require additional evidence via photographs of the cake in place when the problem arose.
Hopefully you will never have any reason to be unhappy with your cake but if you do, please don't hesitate to contact us.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have given us the correct delivery information, and that someone is available to receive the cake. Additional redelivery attempts are chargeable.
If the recipient is not in, we will attempt to leave your order with a neighbour, or failing that we will leave a card to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or arrange re delivery**. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to contact Lacey's Cakes
Please note should there be no one in to accept the first delivery, we will then take no responsibility for any damages that may occur, due to the cakes travelling for longer than they should.
As products are made to order and in some cases personalised to your specifications, cancellations can only be made on the same day the order was placed, if the order is not yet in process. However, should you wish to change your order please contact us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate.
All our cakes are bespoke and made by hand and this does sometimes mean that it will not be exactly the same as on the photos seen on the page but we do strive for near perfection but as we are all unique, so are our cakes.
.Our products may contain, or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of the potential risk therefore we hold no liability for allergic reactions.
